Moon and Mountain Spiritual and Artist Retreat is a spacious guest bedroom, sitting room (or second bedroom) and private bath on the second floor of our home. Each bedroom is 15' x 20'. Guests also have access to laundry facilities. The retreat is located on an acre of land at the foothills of Virgin Mesa in Jemez Springs, NM. The guest quarters has its own private entrance and balcony, and overlooks the Jemez River with spectacular views of Cat Mesa and Virgin Mesa.

Our retreat caters to creative and/or spiritually minded individuals who seek peace and beauty, but there are no workshops that our guests are expected to attend. We also offer a guided hike up Virgin Mesa (weather permitting) if a guest chooses for no extra charge.

Artists may choose to sketch or paint the breathtaking landscapes of New Mexico and writers can take advantage of the mountain tranquility to work. Or just do nothing at all. There are many areas in which martial artists may practice their forms and the guest quarters include ample space for yoga practice.

What you do with your time here is solely up to you. Guests are always welcome to visit the sculpture/ /jewelry studio. You will also have no trouble sleeping with the soothing sounds of the river in the background and waking to bird songs in the morning.

There are many places of interest in the area. You may also just "hide out" in the sanctuary of your suite and on the property, enjoying the surrounding mountains and river. Your stay here may be as solitary as you wish.
