As your deposit or payment holds your reservation, we must turn other guests away for the time reserved. We are a private, in-home, non-commercial retreat and do not advertise or take any "road traffic" from passers-by. This makes it virtually impossible for any cancelled reservation to be replaced by another one. If your stay is cancelled at least 1 week in advance, we will give you full credit in the form of a gift certificate. Gift certificates are also transferrable to another guest. However, another cancellation on any reservation made with this credit gift certificate renders the certificate void.

Weather in the mountains: Unfortunately, we can't control the weather. So when visiting any mountain area in the winter, including our area here in the Jemez, you should always make sure your vehicle can handle driving in winter weather such as snow, ice, etc. Highway 4 is a NM State maintained and plowed road. Mooney Blvd is plowed by the village of Jemez Springs. But once again, we have no control over when they do the snow plowing. If however, weather and road conditions here are so severe and the roads remain unplowed all day - and NO ONE is able get through - we'll issue a full credit even if you cancel on the same day of your arrival.
